IJTEMT

Plagiarism and Research Integrity

Guidelines for submission and Review Process

IJTEMT Plagiarism and Research Integrity Policy

IJTEMT is committed to maintaining academic integrity and publishing original, high-quality research. All submitted manuscripts must be the original work of the authors and must not contain plagiarized, fabricated, falsified, or improperly attributed material.

1. Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes presenting another person's words, ideas, data, figures, tables, methods, or other intellectual work as one's own without appropriate acknowledgement. Authors must provide proper citations and quotation marks where required.

2. Self-plagiarism and Duplicate Submission
Authors should not substantially reuse their previously published material without proper citation and disclosure. A manuscript must not be submitted simultaneously to another journal, and substantially overlapping publications should be disclosed to the Editorial Office.

3. Fabrication and Falsification
Fabrication of data or results, falsification or manipulation of data, images, methods, or research records, and misleading presentation of research findings are considered serious breaches of research integrity.

4. Image and Figure Integrity
Images and figures must represent the underlying research accurately. Authors should not manipulate images in a manner that changes or misrepresents the reported results. Any legitimate processing should be disclosed when relevant.

5. Screening and Editorial Assessment
Submitted manuscripts may be screened for plagiarism or substantial text overlap using appropriate similarity-detection and editorial review procedures. Similarity results are evaluated in context; the presence of a similarity percentage alone does not determine whether misconduct has occurred.

6. Action in Cases of Misconduct
Where plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication, falsification, or other serious ethical violations are identified, IJTEMT may reject the manuscript, request an explanation or correction, withdraw a manuscript from consideration, or take appropriate post-publication action. Where necessary, relevant institutions or other concerned parties may be notified.

7. Responsibility of Authors
All authors are responsible for ensuring that the submitted work is original, appropriately cited, ethically conducted, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Any suspected ethical issue should be disclosed to the Editorial Office as soon as possible.

8. Post-Publication Concerns
If credible evidence of plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or another serious integrity concern is received after publication, IJTEMT may investigate the matter and may publish an appropriate correction, editorial notice, or retraction depending on the findings and circumstances.
